The Seance (Best Short Film - British Horror Film Festival).

This film was supposed to evoke a 'classic' ghost story look, mixed with some newer techniques in an interesting blend. The original references were classic paintings and it became a goal to make the seance scene itself very painterly. I did, however, use a steel green gel to give the mood a greenish teal tint, thowing things off slightly and giving an ethereal, otherworldly feel.
Something that has received a lot of feedback is the POV scene in which myself and the director built a helmet rig from an old motorbike helmet, some articulating arms and dumbbell weights. It did the trick nicely, although at 6'3'' I couldn't operate without every shot looking like a high angle shot, with a robust review system Anthony nailed it and was happy with the result.
